The Carolina Mudcats are a minor league baseball team that was founded in 1991. They were once called the Columbus Mudcats that was a part of the Southern League before they then moved to North Carolina. They first started playing at Fleming Stadium in Wilson, NC before moving to Five County Stadium in Zebulon, NC. When they were the Columbus Mudcats they were affiliates of the Houston Astros. That all changed once they moved to North Carolina and became the Carolina Mudcats then the Pittsburgh Pirates became they affiliates. They are currently affiliates with the Atlanta Braves and are in the Carolina League. Their players report to the manager over them. This sports agency is considered a professional sport.

Also to be a manager he has credentials of playing in the major leagues for 13 years as a vet for four different teams. His job duties are to make sure the players are ready, he also runs the practices and communicates with the front office. After the manager there is the pitching coach. The pitching coach is the third most important person in the organization. His job duties are to work with the pitchers on pitching and to get them as ready as possible for the next matchup. He also help the pitchers work on their mechanics and different techniques to be successful to make it to the next level. He has the job credentials of working for four different levels in baseball. Also has been working for the Atlanta Braves for 12 years. He was also selected by The Atlanta Braves and was a pitcher in the minor league for six years and had a good ERA in the Carolina League. Then the approval must come from the team manager on whether or not they can be seen. Also Muddy the Mudcat has a book club for the youth where they work with many schools in the area. There are two levels in the program that includes Level 1 and Level 2. The school rewards the student who they think reads the best at a certain Level by rewarding them free admission to Mudcats games. Muddy also has appearances for the community. He attend
parades, school events, birthday parties, hospitals, etc. There have to be request made for him to come to community events. The birthday club is also another service the Mudcats provide and you have to sign up for it. They give you a voucher for a game and mail them to you. The range of cost for these activities are charged based on the time and if approved once the request is made. From my perspective, what I found most impressive about this agency is that I used to go to games back in middle and high school with my family and friends. They always gave to the community and our school would get free tickets or Muddy the Mudcat would come to my middle school.
