I have chosen the career of Mechanical Engineering for my paper. The reason why I choose this career for my 5-10 year plan was because I have very interested in things like prototyping, designing, and building machines and other types of tools that we use in our daily lives. Mechanical engineers make people’s lives better and easier. I find this interesting because it inspires me to become one of them.

Once I earn my associate’s degree from Roxbury community college then the next step for me would be to earn my bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering but there are only a few colleges who offer the engineering field.

The next phase would probably be to find a job after getting my master’s and the next step and the school help you with that process. Many mechanical engineers find their first job through their college or university career services office. Many companies send recruiters to college campuses to interview and sign up engineering graduates.
