The Candy Shop War is a sci fi filled book that comes to life through its setting, characters, and plot. This book has many settings and they all take place in Walnut Hills.Walnut Hills has a museum, one school, a couple neighborhoods, a park, and a lot more. Trevor has always lived in the town of Walnut Hills. Although he’s always lived here he was never very good friends with Pigeon. Pigeon/Paul also have lived here all his life but never really had any good friends until now. Pigeon isn’t his real name. His real name is Paul. He got that name from sitting in front of the school and talking to a bird. One day Pigeon was talking to the bird. He was feeding the bird when he put a piece of bread on his head. When everyone saw that the bird was on his head they all rushed to him. The bird got scared and pooped on paul's head. That is how he got the name Pigeon. Summer moved here 2 years ago and met both Pigeon and Trevor. She and Trevor were more of friends before Pigeon was her friend. She became friends with pigeon because she gave pigeon his nick name. Nate move to Walnut Hills one month before school started. By the time he got here the three friends Summer, Pigeon, and Trever already formed a gang. Nate had to earn his whay into the gang. They decided that he had to make a jump at 20 miles on a bike. Although he chickened out he got pelted with a rock from a bully and made it in the gang that
