I personally think that the prime minister holds more power than a primer. The prime minister is the head of the government in Canada and with such positions comes great power. First of all, the prime minister is the head of the governing party in the federal legislature, mean while the premier is the equivalent of that, but at a provincial level. This means that the premier is the leader of the government in his province and is also a representative of their province in the federal legislature. At the end of the day the PM is the one who call the shots and leads legislature at a federal level, a position that holds more power that the one the premier holds.
