The Constitution Act of 1867 and Constitution Act of 1982 is the supreme law of Canada. Canada has three levels of government; The Federal government deals with issues that affect all of Canada, the Provisional government is responsible for aspects such as; highways, education, and health care, the Municipal is the local government and deals with city streets, firefighters and any other local issues. Elizabeth II is the supreme ruler and reigning monarch with Justin Trudeau as the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister controls all aspects of government with the help of cabinet members mostly consisting of Members of Parliament (MPs). What’s becoming more important these days is the concept of Air Defense. Canada’s Air Defense defends against enemy aircraft, tanks, and protection of airfields. The primary system they use is called ADATS (Air Defense Anti-Tank System). “ADATS is a low-level short range air defense (SHORAD) system, capable of engaging both air and surface targets.” (Kable, 2016).
