Tcc's Arguments Against Campus Carry

Carry on campus Active shooters have caused alarmed all throughout the U.S. and other places in the world. They have targeted elementary schools, high schools, churches, malls and universities. No one is excluded from these shootings, and sometimes we our to distracted and confident that they won’t occur on our campus. I believe TCC needs and urgent reform on campus carry, we need to speed up the date on the law approved by our legislation this pass year on campus carry so it can take affect sooner, we also need to protect this law from protesters from other campus because their protests could have a domino effect on our campus as well, we as TCC need the funding and approval of a conceal carry permit holder class on all of our …show more content…
Students are arguing that dildos would keep us safer than firearms? Do you think that sexual toys would keep us safe when someone starts shooting at us? I ask myself how this can even be a logical argument against campus carry. Our colleges and universities would be much safer if we had students who are former police officers, veterans, or just responsible civilians with conceal carry permits. If students keep protesting and this law is revoked, we will not see it at a community college level next year. Teachers and students from all over Texas campuses are outrage by this law instead of celebrating its approval. and no State has been an exemption, not California, not Virginia, not Connecticut, not Colorado, not even the heavily armed state of Texas nor Florida. The death tolls have ranged from as little as a few killed up to 49 people. An example is the Virginia Tech known as “Virginia Tech massacre” that lead up to 32 deaths and 17 injured. Imagine if a student had a gun at that moment, he could of kill the man that caused the massacre and he could of safe lives too, but at that moment the right to carry arms in a college wasn’t admitted. I ask those who are totally against guns to think and use common sense for as minute. Do you seriously believe that a gun-free zone made the difference? Or do you maybe think that a well-trained civilian with a firearm would have reduced the death totals in those shootings. A gun-free zone only helps if you follow the laws and the only people who follow laws are civilians. Do you think that the law-abiding citizen wants to become a felon by carrying on when he or she is not permitted? Of course,
