Being a bully and being a bystander have some similarities and differences. Some of the similarities are they both feel guilty, cause the target to feel pain, and face consequence. Some of the differences are the bystander encourages the hand the bully might be the cause of suicide. Which is worse a bully or a bystander? A bystander is worse because they feel guilty, they don't do anything to help the victim, they get stuck in the middle of everything, and they encourage the bully.

To begin with according to Source 4, a bystander feels guilty by causing pain to the victim. The bystander causes pain by encouraging the bully by not helping. The bystander might cause the victim to commit suicide. The bystander might have caused the victim to commit suicide because they don't do anything to help the victim from being bullied. When a bystander stands there and laughs when the victim is getting hurt the victim might be having suicidal thoughts or thoughts about endangering others. The victim might have disabilities, few friends, a different religion, race, or sexual orientation.

The victim might be gay or transgender and the bully dislikes people that are gay or transgender. The victim could be a different race including black, Indian, Chinese, or Japanese. The victim might be fabulous at something that bully is not and the bully is jealous of the victim. Also the victim might have no friends to help them out with the bullying problem.
