The climate of an area is so impactful that even the smallest changes can have large, serious impacts because everything is connected in some way. The Butterfly Effect theory explains that the power of a butterfly flapping its wings in New Mexico can cause a hurricane in China; that it may take a long time, but there is a connection because if the butterfly hadn’t flapped its wings at the exact point in time and space, the air movement wouldn’t have changed or moved to cause a hurricane. Because we can’t ever know the outcomes of our actions before they happen, so it’s impossible to determine what factors cause certain outcomes, but the fact remains that even slight changes or errors can be amplified dramatically, making significant changes
