Little Bay is a business of several opera-themed restaurants in England. The idea of the restaurants is to serve Modern European and French cuisine for a good value whilst offering a unique experience of live entertainment and original, extravagant surroundings. Little Bay has 6 restaurants, almost all located around London: Battersea, Brighton, Belgrade, Croydon, Farringdon and Kilburn.
The first restaurant was opened in Kilburn, in 1992, and then over the years, more restaurants followed (Little Bay). As there are six Little Bay restaurants, I would recommend Little Bay to purchase two tablets per restaurant as there is more than one waiter active at a time per restaurant that has to be able to take orders from tables. The price of one full tablet PoS system with accessories is approximately $1200 and the price of an IPad is $650 (BarcodesInc iPad POS system). These costly PoS system kits do not only supply the IPad, but also a cash register, receipt printer etc. But this is not what Little Bay currently needs. Since the restaurants already have a cash register and receipt printer of their own, it would be better to solely invest in tablets plus software in order to improve the business and still eliminate the same problems that currently exist without spending money on redundant
