I have never expected that how Karana has powerfully grown into a survival life on the island. When she jumped into the sea from the whiteman ship, she must not have imagined herself about the isolated life. She lost his father by the Aleur’s battle and his brother by the wild dog, but she did abandon herself to grief for a long time. She was living positive attitude even she is isolated. On the other hand, I think she is smart because she was thinking what to do next task, and she solved the top priority problem in order. When she finished one task, and she faced next task. For example, she dealt with the bull with an injury, and she planed to get rid of the wild dog. In addition, the third point is that she sent the arrow the yellow eyes dog, and the arrow struck the dog. After her deep thinking, she decided to carry the dog to her house. I read again and again this part, but I could not understand why she save the wounded dog because the dog and the other dogs killed her brother. After that she was happy because she had a pater, so she is no longer alone in the island. She also found the birds and took two eggs from them and put the cage which she made. Finally, she got another a pertner. Until she saved the dog, she must be lonely because she cannot talk

Water for Elephants is a historical novel that was written by Sara Gruen.it was the beginning of the Great Depression. For Americans suffering through the worst serious money-based problem the country had ever gone through - with little money and food to go around - attending a circus performance would have seemed like an amazing, (very much/in an upset, hopeless way) needed an escape. Going to the circus would have been a (wished very much)-for, much-appreciated break for those who could afford the tickets. Think about it. These people didn't have TVs.…

Water for Elephants By; Chasity Laporte Water for Elephants was published in 2006, and was banned in Bedford, N.H. School District (2010) after a parent complained about the book's sexual content, violence but still an amazing story in my own opinion. This book is an epic love story between a man named Jacob Jankowski, woman named Marlena, and Marlena's husband August who is a cruel man, and a beautiful elephants named Rosie, but why would such a amazing book be banned? I ask the same question. The sexule content between Marlena, and Jacob is pretty wild. The first kiss between Marlena and Jacob is reminiscent of the scene when the two of them dance in front of Rosie.…

This next chapter really focuses on biodiversity and how having a diverse world is extremely important. Earle states that “if the gene pool is small, the greater vulnerability of life to diseases, storms, and changes in climates”. This is not just true for humans, but for animals as well. The more people fish and the more marine life that goes extinct the smaller the species get which could lead to a lot of diseases which could kill a ton of animals and soon there would not be a mass amount left. That is why Earle makes it very important that the reader knows that by every marine animal that goes extinct it doesn’t just hurt life in the water but eventually it will start to hurt life out of the water.…

In a world where there are too many temptations, the attention to the value of life escapes some people. When people value life, it can be a reliable guide that helps them not go astray. When people act in accordance with their value, they get great satisfaction from this activity. This idea can be seen in Sarah Orne Jewett’s short story “A White Heron” where a little girl was tempted against her value of life. The final part of the story is the crucial moment where the protagonist, Sylvia, stands firm on her value of life.…
