Recently the Department of Labor has been closing down Job Corp centers nationwide, I understand the reasons behind their actions but there approach is wrong. This is one of the political problems that face our nation and its concern needs to be addressed. It is an important skill for our citizens of the United States of America to have an academic and professional set of skills. With these set of skills we as citizens would be able become essential to our nations prosperity.

Job Corps supports all their students not just the top achievers but every student, unlike in a traditional school anyone who fell behind was left behind normally that’s how it worked with some teachers and schools. I like Job Corps because it doesn’t leave anyone behind the staff there works hard with students to keep them focused on their goals and helps them in getting to the finish line for graduation. Before even attending Job Corps I had my doubts about the program, it was my father who pushed me into going and convinced me to enroll into the program. Since being there it has revealed the hidden potential in me and others who also strove to accomplish something.
