László Moholy-Nagy was a Hungarian born artist who had a huge influence on education in the US after the war, he instilled a modern aesthetic into American design. Nagys character and teaching methods were shaped by Suprematism, Constructivism and Dadaism. He was an experimentalist and modernist in nature.
Walter Gropius asked Nagy to work in Bauhaus where he became in charge of the schools preliminary course (1923 to 1928). He gave this course a much more
