The toys of choice for the sake of this study are the ‘bright beats build-a-beat stacker' and the ‘chatter telephone'. These two are toys appeal to the cognitive skill and the emotional and social skill development respectively. The bright beats build a beat stacker introduces and aims at improving the child's capability to understand sequencing through laying of pieces to make a stack. The child, put to the task of having the largest sizes at the base engages their cognitive and social skill development. The decision making capability of the infant is also set to the task. The telephone chatter, on the other hand, is helpful in the language development capacity of the child. It assists the child to build cogent conversations as he or she calls her toys and animals. The impact being fun making for the child, it also causes the child to learn that one action leads to another
