This project requires that students complete the Myers- Briggs personality test online. The Jung typology Test asks a series of 64 questions regarding an individual’s personality. Once the test is completed, students receive a 4-letter type formula, along with the strengths of preferences and the description of their personality type. My 4-letter personality type formula is INFJ. The site also gives information regarding careers and opportunities most suitable for the student’s personality type and information understanding commination and learning styles of the personality type. It has been said that only one percent of the population has the INFJ personality. INFJ are known as soft-spoken but have strong opinion and are stubborn. INFJ are decisive individuals who are strong-willed. However these individuals rarely use their energy for personal, looking to positively influence the life of others. INFL believe that the world needs to be filled with love and compassion in order to soften the hearts of tyrants. I am one hundred percent behind this statement. Especially with the recent tragedies our country has had to deal with. I believe that love is the only thing that can save us.
Type Talk at Work According to the Meyers-Briggs personality test, my letters were INFJ. INFJ personalities are described as protectors. Careers for INJF personality include clergy, teacher, doctors, health care professional, social workers, and child care. I am not in any way connecting to any of these professions. I am an accountant. However according to the site, it states that INFL individual need more out of a career than just a job. I believe this statement does reflect my personal beliefs. I need to feels as if everything is my life is going right according to my value and belief system. It reads the INFJ personalities perceive life as filled with endless possibilities and meaning. Structure, schedule and order are also concepts admired by my personality type. Especially at work these ideas are important to me in order to have a great work day. The Type Talk at Work authors, identify my personality as gentle, caring, concerned, imaginative, and interpersonal. I do not believe these adjective define me 100 percent. The text starts by revealing the ultimate purpose of this individual which is to service others. I believe this statement correctly identifies me. Right now, I am an accountant; however, I am not satisfied with my position. I feel as though I should be doing more to help my community and fellow man. I have started the process of becoming a teacher. By being a teacher I believe I can help educated kids and encourage them to go after all of their dreams and goals.
