Who is to blame? Is Melissa or Asher at fault? Or could it have been the actions of others that caused the relationship to crumble?

Asher and Melissa are two seniors in high school who recently just broke up,
Each of them is very different, Melissa is very focused on her education and getting the best grades possible, while Asher is laid back and typically sporty and prefers to just have fun. both seem to be blaming each other and the family members tend to be siding with their own blood.
Now to investigate who is really to blame.
