The Brain on Love or neurobiology, was an interesting read for me because of how the brain responds to love and hurt. They way Ackerman describes the intimate bond between infant and child thru wedded bliss is amazingly cemented together by one common organ. Neurobiology studies the brain and the chemicals that are released when two share a common bond. Diane Ackerman writes, “Love is the best school, but the tuition is high and the homework can be painful” struck a chord with me because most of us has been hurt at some point in our lives by someone we were intimately involved with or someone we were not.
