I am a part of the Brady Bunch. No, there is no sitcom about my family and unfortunately, we have neither a dog nor a maid. Nevertheless, I have three older brothers (including one with the same name as a famous quarterback), two younger sisters, and our last name, believe it or not, is Brady. Not only am I a member of this unique family, but I also have a special place within it. I am both a middle child and a ‘first’ child because I am the fourth of six, yet the first-born girl. Life in such an unusual spot, in such an unusual family, is extraordinarily different from how it is portrayed on screen, and it has shaped me in a variety of ways.
