In the story, The Boy In The Striped Pajamas book was different than the movie because of its ending. Out of all the differences the end of the movie is different and the most important part of the story. In the book, the difference was the father did not stay in Out-With for a year to look for his missing son. In the movie, the end was more dramatic and the parents knew what had happened to the boy which showed the emotional parents. Minor things in the novel were different from the movie with the characters. There wasn't many differences between the two but what the characters did were the most obvious.

The book has bigger and better scenes that make a big differences, and the parts should be in the movie as well. Example would be, Susie’s father gets beat up in a corn field, with a baseball bat. Her father got beat up pretty bad and while he was in the hospital susie’s mother kisses and has an affair with the detective that is on susie’s case. In the movie it switches it all up and susie’s mother leaves…

The two differences in the movie I will focus on are the missing characters and when Johnny fights at Lexington with Rab. I will also discuss a similarity between the book and movie, which is Rab getting Johnny involved in the Revolutionary War. As I said before, a difference in the movie was that some characters from the book were missing. Three of the four Lapham sisters- Madge, Dorcas,…

A few important character connections and details were in the book that were left out in the movie. In the book, for example, Kim and Mia’s relationship wasn’t as detailed in the movie. It didn’t show their fight like it did in the book and all of their childhood between the two seemed to be missing from the movie. Mia and Kim had some important things that occurred in their childhood which I thought was important and should have been included in the movie. Her grandparents also weren’t in the movie as much as they were in the book.…

Keeping how the characters act in the novel and movie the same was a big key factor. Keeping the characters the same helped keep details the same and helped us understand aspects better. Knowing the details of certain characters and how they handled their situations helped me imagine what they were going through and how they handled the situation due to the fact that I knew what they were thinking in their head. Another example of why the novel was more effective was the scene with Mike Chambers. In the novel, Mike Chambers was introduced to us, but in the movie there was no Mike Chambers.…

The book actually had more than the ever had in the book like it had Pony got jumped by some Socs and got beat up, but in the movie in did not have that in the movie. You could compare the movie in the book by the using something like a T-chart. In the movie the person who wrote the book was in the movie but not in the book so I thought that was cool. It has the movie in front of you, but in the book you could picture it in your head so that's why I thought the movie was better than the book.…

Like many other movies derived from books, there are numerous differences. The book has many people who aren't named in the movie, and the movie shows scenes that the book does not. The book described the Abramowiczs as a fairly poor family in a small shtetl, but in the movie it shows a wealthy family in a big village. There are also many similarities between the book and the movie. Both the book and movie contain the same main ideas in the plot, and have more or less the same storyline.…
