The Boston Massacre's Contributions To The American Revolution

The American Revolution was one of the greatest historical events that occurred in American history. But many don’t know the obstacles that occurred through, leading to this event. From dumping tea to getting Independence took many obstacles. This started from Taxation without representation and the Sugar Act in 1764 to 1766. Then was the Stamp Act of 1765, the Sons of Liberty formed and Declaratory Act from 1765 to 1766. When the Stamp Act of 1765 was repealed, the King started the Townshend Act which put duties not only on paper, but other items as well. Next came the Boston Massacre that occurred March 5, 1770 which was one of the biggest impacts that lead to the American Revolution. After this act came the Tea Act and the Boston Tea Party after they put taxes on tea many colonists got upset and dumped tea into the ocean and was called as the Boston Tea Party. After this lost for Britain, the King sent the Intolerable Act, which made the 13 colonies upset leading to the American Revolution. When the war was ended the 13 colonies wrote the Declaration of Independence to get independence from Great Britain and the King. The American Revolution was one of the biggest war. These soldiers regularly came each day from the King’s orders to see the first British settlement in Boston. These nine armed soldiers were attacked with snowballs by the colonists for protection and protest, still the British soldiers fired into the crowd, killing three men instantly and two men after forwards. After the killing of fifth men and injured men and boys, the colonists protested and brought the soldiers to trial.
