Boston Marathon Bombing After reading the excerpts from the article, “Boston Bombing Overview: The Unfolding Of A 5-Day Manhunt for Suspects” by J.M. Hirsch, what support does the author give that the police/government are “sure” they have the right man in custody? Because an innocent man would not have hidden in a boat while he was bleeding out without searching for a hospital. If this man were truly innocent he would have called fro cease of fire during the gunfight instead of responding with firing of his own. Although they had proof that he was guilty there is still a chance that he could have been forced to by a group of people, criminals, or terrorists.…

After putting all these facts together and actually realizing all the things that went on, I believe that it was correct of Parliament to try and control their fairly young colonies but I believe they tried to impose too much and control too many things. For example, I feel that the Quartering Acts were not good duties to apply to an already rowdy and rebellious colonial organization, this gave Americans yet another reason to sever ties with the motherland. So for that reason and obviously for the over taxing of colonies, some of their actions were justified but not all of them. Specifically, I believe throwing all the tea into Boston Harbor was rather drastic as well as beginning the Boston Massacre. I know most people see it as the troops…

Hope is what motivates people to survive, and inspires action. Sometimes hope can be misplaced and be consequential, as discovered by the characters in Alive and Into Thin Air. The Boston Massacre : A Fuse Lit It all started on a day in spring. Tension was already creeping in the air, and someone was planning to use it to their advantage. A group of colonists launched an attack on a British sentinel, throwing nearly anything they could get into their hands at him. A group of nearby British soldiers fired into the mob killing 5 and injuring several others. Things of course, went downhill or uphill (depending on how you think of it) from there on.…

Another example of this can be seen when the helicopter that Owen was in crashed right was they were about to infiltrate Oussama Ben Laden’s house. This left the whole team, including Owen in a very hopeless place. They all felt as if they failed the mission before it had even begun. Even though the helicopter was a major setback, the team needed to look for hope in order to push forward. For them, hope was having the chance to kill Oussama Ben Laden and take justice for what was done to America.…

I believe that the Boston Massacre was a accident and that it was not meant to happen. One reason i think the boston massacre was an accident is because the colonist were yelling “fire, fire” and by that some of the colonist thought that there captain had said fire and that's why they fired at the colonist. The second reason i thought that the boston massacre was an accident was because when the colonist started throwing clubs and snowballs they hit the soldiers and the soldiers seen that as a sign to fire their guns. The last reason i thought that the boston massacre was an accident is One of the reasons i believe that the boston massacre was an accident was because the colonist were yelling “fire, fire” and the soldiers probably thought that it was there captain saying fire. Hope is an abstract thought that’s like water, helping to grow a relationship that’s as delicate as a flower. In The Road, the man had his hope, the boy, right in front of him at all times, while the boy had the same until his father died, yet the boy still managed to find hope again. No matter the circumstances, no matter the amount of lost, hope will always be there. Sometimes people might have to look harder than others but it’s still there.…
