Do you know what the American Revolution did? It started a new country, America. This is what this book it all about, the American Revolution. But, did the patriots do the right thing, fighting the british. I think they were, the patriots did the right thing. King George taxed them without even letting the people vote for it. They were already paying taxes which affected a lot of people, and now they have to pay even more taxes. They were right to do these things, because they need to stop the taxes.

Chapter Five The Boston Tea Party:
The Boston Tea Party was one of the biggest protests ever to have been done. Samuel Adams leading it, he got the sons of Liberty to dress like indians, board ships carrying many chests of tea and dumped them into the water. 342 chests of tea turned the water of the harbor to brown, making this one of the biggest protests ever.
That tea was worth thousands, maybe even millions of dollars. This protest was stopped when british soldiers came. It was found out that the men weren’t indians, just dressed like them. The Boston Tea party changed a lot of things in the American Revolution.
The Boston Tea party made the king very mad, so he punished the colonists for their actions. This protest made a big dent, for the tea now had to be replaced, costing even more money. This protest also motivated a lot of other colonists to where there was another Boston Tea Party, although it wasn’t called that, it was very much the same, just much smaller.
