There are over 6,000 different languages in the world. They all have one thing in common…words. To some, the purpose of words is just to talk to one another. In reality, words are more than that. In Zuzaks, The Book Thief, the power of words is used in multiple ways for characters to connect and communicate with one another. The power of words can be used in writing. In The Book Thief a character named Max writes a book called The Standover Man. Max uses the words in this book to describe his feelings towards Liesel and his journey to the Huberman’s home. Liesel was given a book to write in which also shows the power of words. In this book, Liesel looks back on everything that has happened to her. She then writes down all of her memories and
