Dear diary today I read the first 100 pages of my book they were about, The narrator(death) sets the scene. Liesel, her mother , and her brother are on a train to the Hubermanns house. Along the way her brother dies so they stop the train and bury him, after the burial a book called the grave digger's handbook falls out of the grave diggers pocket and liesel picks it up, when they arrive her new foster mother acts very rudely to her and her foster father treats her nicely. Every night Liesel has a nightmare about her brother and by morning her foster father Mr.Hubermann is at her bedside. She met a boy by the name of Rudy Steiner and they become friends, Rudy really likes a black runner he likes him so much he grabs charcoal and rubs it on
