Within my visual representation, I have implemented an array of techniques in order to convey the comparative contextual values in both The Book Thief, and V for Vendetta. My poster features a young male looking into a mirror, and perceiving his own reflection. However the mirror itself is split evenly in half representing the dualistic nature of mankind; ‘brutality versus beauty’. On the left of the image, the concept of brutality is I believe being successfully portrayed, as through the figurative representation of the apes at the bottom of the cliff, looking up at the totalitarian figure, clearly exhibits the contextual value of equality.
