The Road to Emmaus relates to chapter 3 and 4 The video began with Jesus dying for our sins on the cross. It was explained that three days later he was suppose to resurrect, as he did nobody found him in his tomb because it was empty. Two men were walking down a street when another unknown man which was Jesus but they hadn 't recognized him comes up to them talking about Jesus himself. They were headed to a village called Emmaus, they talked about everything that had happened in the past few days. “He spoke with authority of a prophet send from God”(The Road to Emmaus) said one of the men as they walked. They told the man that came along how a women had seen an angel in Jesus ' tomb claiming he was indeed alive. The men saw miracles that Jesus had preformed curing people from disease, bringing sight back to a blind man, and raising a girl from the dead. The two men talked about how Jesus cared so much about others, how he dedicated his time and effort into spending time with people he didn 't even know. The kingdom was made for all especially the poor. It also welcomed sinners,“ Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners” (1 Tm 1:15). Jesus looked at everyone the same and loved everyone equally with all their imperfections included. In The Road to Emmaus Jesus emphasized that we need a king above all kings, God promised a descendent that would establish a much greater Kingdom that would last forever. The kingdom which is known as the Kingdom of God with perfect peace. The descendent was Jesus, he created this Kingdom to help people become closer to God. Both chapter four and the video view the Kingdom of God has place open to all and for Jesus ' followers to attract others into joining it as
