It is amazing to think that among the countless wonders we see in the world- the mountains, hills, animals, plants, even the seas, that we are one of the creations God placed on the potter’s wheel. The Lord spoke to the prophet Jeremiah in the first chapter and said “Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee” (Jeremiah 1:5a KJV). Isn’t it a blessing to know that we serve a God who loves us so dearly that before He even placed us in the earth He had already paved our life path and had blessings in store for us? Before God formed us in our mother’s womb, He predestined us and had in mind our assignment, our gifting…our destiny. This means what once we entered this earth, we began the journey to finding out who God wants us to be, and what He wants us to do.
Once we have reached the place where we know our identity in Christ, it is our responsibility to gain everything we need from the Lord to cultivate what He has placed inside of us.
Often times, there are people in the body of Christ who lose sight of who God has crafted them to be. They sometimes find that they are more comfortable doing something else, maybe operating in another gift looks easier, more appealing, or may appear to be more substantial or popular. These are the wiles of the enemy that blind-sight us and cause us to miss out on what God has for us. We can never reach our highest potential without submitting to the will of God, and being who He wants us to be.
How would you feel if you put so much…
