Understanding the environment and how it works, what it does, and why it changing the client, is a large part of macro studies. You can study the environment on one person, but the best affects are the commonalities among multiple populations or cultures. This perspective allows the social worker to work with the largest and most distant collection of people or places to the client that still has a large impact on them. You can use this to study the client’s political and economic beliefs, and the affect these large systems have on them. The study I found mentioned used the ecosystem to study the levels of the client’s culture, and their behavioral changes through this culture. (Erez, & Gati, 004). One example I found in the movie is the fact that when Mike moved to his new school at Wingate, he was uncomfortable, shy, and had no desire. These traits could have stemmed off of the fact that he was new and could feel everyone staring and gawking at him. One way this could be studied in a macro setting is by working with the students and the organizations and figuring out how they could interact with this reasoning. It can also relate to the study of the school facility and what they are doing to help Mike progress and do
