Michael was in and out of foster homes and at times living on the street until a football coach at a private school saw potential in Michael and admitted him into a prestigious school. Although he did suffer from learning disabilities and did not have a permanent place to call home, not even a bed. Later on, a mother of a student from the private school finds out about Michael’s predicament and invites him to stay the night at their home. However, that one night stay turned into a permanent living situation as the mother felt that it was her mission to provide Michael with everything he needed emotionally and academically. After graduating high school as the mother made sure he gets an education, Michael achieved his dream and played for the Baltimore Ravens and the Tennessee Titans and currently is signed with the Carolina Panthers in the NFL.
