They would like to move on from protests and actually stop the unjust killing of black citizens in this country (Sidner, 2015). They would like to focus on changing local policies. What our society can learn from the BLM movement is how to stay relevant. Unlike other movements in the past few years, the BLM movement has managed to remain a trending topic throughout the years. Many movements and causes have come and gone; Kony 2012, Bring Back Our Girls, but the BLM movement refuses to be put on the back of people 's minds.
