The black cat is a story of horror fiction, gothic fiction, where the main objective is to make a psychological study of guilt in humans, identifying how emotions influence in taking decisions. for the development of this reaction paper, we seek information about the reading, the author and the purpose of his writing, we also use the book to have detailed information about the message the author wants to convey and criticism that performs. My goal in this paper is to show a view of the message sent by the author, taking into account existing quotations in the book, these are going to be used for a complete development.
First, as we can see in the story there is a bit of irony by the main character, it shows how his childhood and manhood led him to where he is right now and an explanation of his behavior, you can see how everything around “encourage” him to be aggressive. initially he says: …show more content…
Taking into account the love that the wife of the narrator feels for the animals, and knowing this is a feeling they share, we can say that he thinks of her as one of his pets, because obviously he doesn’t trust and he doesn’t like humans as stated in the preceding quotation. In addition, his lack of understanding of their excessive love of animals foreshadowed his inability to explain his motives for his actions.
