In this paper, we are going to focus much on the social and political part of it as governed by the bill of rights. The first constitution did not contain the bill of rights and many states asked vividly for the amendment and inclusion of the bill of rights(Roger,3). This was for the sole reason of protecting individual rights by the federal government. This led to the holding of a ratification debate in Virginia, where it was assured by Madison that a bill of rights would be included in the Constitution. Since its inclusion in the constitution, the bill of rights has established the foundations of the American politics.
