INTRODUCTION:
The bill of rights was written by James Madison in 1789. James Madison studies history and government at New Jersey College. He continued to pursue a political career after losing the 1777 election of the Virginia Assembly. In 1809-1817, he became the fourth president of the United States. He is know as the “Father of the Constitution” because he took the pivotal role in drafting and promoting the U.S. construction and the Bill of Rights The U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the United States of America that guarantees certain laws for the citizens. The U.S. Constitution was signed on September 17, 1787, by delegates of the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, presided over by George Washington. The bill of rights was written in 1791, and the first 10 amendments were written by James Madison in 1789. These amendments guarantee the freedom of the population, and will limit the power of the government (History.com).
