With this divide of student’s verses town’s people, there is without doubt a feel of unacceptance that only makes us more strangers to each other. Along with separating ourselves individually from each other using technology and the lack of environmental integrity, the park allows people to come and feel comfortable but falls to failure because of these underlying problems.
The Bill Johnstone Memorial Park, located near the heart of Sackville but just too close for comfort, has a great ability to promote activities and outdoor adventures for families and friends, while unfortunately bringing barriers through its location, privacy, technology, lack of environmental care, and feelings of unacceptance between social groups. With a look into these issues many of them can be worked on and fixed with planning, time, and education. The park has many redeeming qualities and it would be great for the citizens of Sackville to build on and repair what troubles them
