A charismatic leader is passionate, a great communicator, and confidant; often times this attitude can spur others into actions and raise individuals’ morale (Blanken, 2014, para. 13). Bill Clinton is an amazing communicator and is someone who can always get their point across in a positive way, even his old competition Bill Clinton says so. “He’s an awesome communicator. He can really lay out a case and get people all across the political spectrum to listen” (Gillman, 2014, para. 5). He is a charismatic leader because he can easily get others to listen to him. He has an ability to bring people together but sees himself as just a normal person who had the drive to become president. Clinton gives everyone no matter who they are his full undivided attention (Gregoire, 2013, para. 4). Paying attention shows people that they are being listened to and are being respected, and people can tell that someone is a weak or strong communicator by just by the way they pay attention. Bill Clinton can comprehend what was said because he pays attention to every detail of what is talked about, not many people can do this and it gets others attention (Gregoire, para. 9). He made a charitable foundation to find solutions for poverty, climate change, global help and lack of education called the William J. Clinton Foundation (Parker, 2007, para. 2). Clinton’s philanthropy is shown to influence other none profits to do better work because of his attitude towards what he is doing. His humanitarian work also helped him change his image after being forced out of office, and Clinton believes everyone should help solve social problems not just the government. The reason for his humanitarian efforts is that Clinton thinks government has a huge problem solving global issues. They moved so slowly to change these issues when Bill was in office that now he gotten tired of it and is helping others all around the world, including here in the United States (Parker, para.
