When you shop you decide on which brand to buy. High profile sports figures, movie stars and rock bands have clearly defined brands (e.g. the big red lips and tongue logo are part of the Rolling Stones brand, Coke, Pepsi, and Tide all have well defined brands). Today, career experts recommend that young people think of themselves as a brand under development. Everyone understands how difficult the job market is and will continue to be without the necessary education and skills that will brand you professionally as a teacher, scientists, rancher, mechanic, actor, etc. Social media is now playing a major role in branding personal maturity, values and personal safety.
