The Big 5 personality traits refer to openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism, which can influence a person’s performance in various areas. The Big Five personality traits, is a way to describe human nature by five main categories (Goldberg, 1993). The term “big five” was initially related to natural language by Lewis Goldberg, an American personality psychologist, and then it came into the use of personality test. Developed by Robert McCrae and Paul Costa, Five-Factor Theory explained the total five figures systematically and brought a biological account of personality traits (Srivastava, n.d.). Now big five characters have become one of the most relevant theoretical frameworks to explore general personality components, which could help us better understand our social and interpersonal interactions with others.
Firstly, openness involves a process of interaction and information processing in identifying and selecting appropriate partners, developing routines to interact with them, and constructing management systems to manage the relationships. (James H. Love, Stephen Roper, and Priit Vahther, 2014). It is usually acknowledged that high literary talents are more valued in companies.
