The Big Daddy, is a American comedy film which was directed by Dennis Dugan. The film was produced by Robert Simonds and released on 1999 by Columbia Pictures. Adam Sandler (Sonny Koufax ) and the Sprouse twins (Julian) are the leading actors. The movie won a Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) Film Music Award.

The movie is set in United States. Sonny Koufax is a lawyer who has never liked to assume the responsibilities as an adult. However, Sonny realizes that if you do something soon could be alone for the rest of his life. When his girlfriend leaves him for his immaturity, he decides to adopt Julian, a child of 5 years.

The Big Daddy is a beautiful movie, it teaches us about the true value of love and friendship.
