The way the Hamilton portrays death is something very necessary and something that doesn’t need to be hidden and almost like a last declaration of what you are. He shows that being scared is not an option and everyone needs to strong and he really shows that when he lets the kids be in the room on his death bed. Death is real is what he says in the first paragraph and he is right it is very real and everyone tries to extend there so called “clock” of life or they just don’t want to think about death but it comes sooner or later. He also says death was like a new window of knowledge, almost like being born again, which his spirit was seeing everything for the first time. He thinks like this because of the fact that his faith was all in the right place and he knew where he was going to end up so death was scary but also southing for the fact that he knows what will happen and his afterlife is pretty much set because of the actions and the relationship he had with God and he says death is real because its probably the most real thing that could happen to someone, saying your time is up and its time to let your family and friends go and you know that will cause them grief and sadness and there’s nothing you can do about it has to be the hardest thing to hear. Many more questions came to mind while reading this book and the other one was what is biblical theology? The whole book written over that topic and that’s the first one that really popped in my head after reading the title. Hamilton says that biblical theology is the compilations of the assumptions and presumptions and identification and association and the symbols and truths about the bible authors. That is true to an extent, there is more to that then just the experience and facts it also has to do with what is said in-between the text so you must read in-between the lines and just extend on what is being said and the way you think about
