He stood with those who wanted to stone her and said “let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone,” (Student’s Life Application Study Bible, John 8:7). After the accusers heard what he said, they slowly began to turn away. Jesus looked to the woman and asked if they had condemned her and when she replied to him with a simple “no”, he confessed to her that he also would not condemn her.
