Definition of God
God is a Spirit (John 4:24), infinite (Job 11:7; 1 Kings 8:27), eternal (Ps. 90:2; 1 Tim. 1:17), and unchangeable (James 1:17; Mal. 3:6) in His being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness and truth.
The Immanence of God
The immanence of God connotes an indwelling of God within the world and its processes (Jer. 23:23-24; Acts 17:27-29; Heb. 1:3; Matt. 10:29).
Every event is of supernatural causation in some sense. However, God is over the universe and in the universe, the universe is distinct from God.
The Transcendence of God
God is prior to the world, apart from it, and exalted above it (Isa. 55:8-9, 46:5). There can be no proper visible representation of God. We should worship Him.

10:30). His knowledge is perfect and includes all truth and possibilities (Isa. 46:9-11; Heb. 4:13; Matt. 11:21). He knows the thoughts of men (Ps. 139:1-4). He knows our needs (Matt. 6:8). He knows past, present, and future (Isa. 44:7-8). All of the acts of God are done in perfect wisdom.
b) Omnipotence= The Sovereign Power of God
God can do whatever He wills (Gen. 18:14; Matt. 19:25-26; Rev. 19:6; Ps. 62:11). All His acts are done without effort. Therefore, God’s great purpose for history will be accomplished (Eph. 1:11).
It does not mean God can do everything. He cannot do anything absurd or self-contradictory.
c) Immutability In essence, attributes, consciousness, and will, God is unchangeable (Ps. 33:11; 102:27; Ex. 3:14; Mal. 3:6). God is always the same.
Some of the passages speaking of God’s repenting are anthropomorphism and anthropopathisms (Gen. 6:6; Ex. 32:14). God’s attitude changes as the object of His attitude changes.
2) The Moral Attributes of God
a) Holiness
God’s holiness points to His uniqueness. God is totally separate from His creation, from all that is not clean (Ps. 47:8; 89:14; 97:2).
We see our own uncleanness in the light of God’s holiness (Isa. 6:5). We have to approach God through the merits of Jesus (Heb. 10:19). God’s people have to be holy (1 Peter 1:15-16; Heb.
