“The Best of Me” by Nicholas Sparks
Nicholas Sparks is a renowned and beloved American novelist who is also known as a screenwriter and producer. There are many film adaptations of his novels out of which “The Best of Me” is one of them. His novels are New York Times best seller whereas, the movies do not end up with a good review of the fourth day of its release. Although his movies have had a cumulative worldwide gross of over three- quarters of a billion dollar, the criticism from the critic states that it is very disappointing on how the actual story is not covered well in the movie. All his readers and audience always have very high expectations about his movies after reading his novels, but it actually turns out the vice versa.
‘The best of me’ is a story based on two star-crossed lovers Dawson and Amanda. The story is about the first love, the long- lost love. Simply two characters who were lost in their world of fantasy meet each other for the first time in 20 years. Questioning their present if what they did was right?
