Sylvia and Edgar’ mom see the group attempting to escape. At first the group attacks the couple thinking they are a threat because of their disguise, but Sylvia and Edgar’s mother proof they are one of them and explain their plan. The escapes help Sylvia and Edgar’s mother escape through the tunnel. Despite all the security systems in the prison, five thousand citizens escaped to the other side of the “Berlin Wall” seeking freedom. Two of these five thousand people are Sylvia and Edgar’s mother. Words can’t describe how Sylvia feels and how thankful she is with Edgar’s mom. When she sees Edgar it is as if she has been born again, but this time next to her loved one. The joy and happiness these two feel is indescribable. They feel like it is them against the world and nothing is going to stop their love.
