The need for peace is growing. Military action overseas is becoming the norm instead of only when needed. The U.S military is on the ground almost any where that there is a disturbance in peace instead of only when the freedom of the American citizen is in jeopardy. It seems almost that American military is becoming world peace keepers instead of the protectors of America. The men and women who are joining and being deployed on these missions are not signing up to fight other people’s battles that do not involve us. The United States soldiers are being paid too little, being kept from their families, and dying when they have everything to lose but nothing to win. military is becoming known all around which is a good thing and also a bad thing at the same time. Many will ask how could this be both good and bad. Many do believe it should be world known that America does have an amazing military made up of the strongest and smartest out there, yet it does not need to be known as the world police that will come and be killed or wounded just because of a power mad individual who has insane ideas and forcing individuals to submit to these ideas. One would think that The United States would stay out of it until the general public becomes endangered yet, ever since World War II it seems that the american troops have had a hand in almost any military exercise whether it be to help the civilians of a particular country or to help push the cause of the attackers in this country. The United States has even declared a war on terror in 2001 specifically looking for all terrorists worldwide no matter where they are hiding the U.S. was searching seeking and attacking these individuals and groups. Some will counter that without these men and women going overseas fighting these terrorist “bringing the fight to the terrorist” is just protecting the U.S from future terror attacks. These terrorist do need to be caught and their terrany be ended but by the country they are in not other countries especially americans getting on their soil chasing these men and women. can not only protect itself and soldiers, but it can still assist these countries in need of help. The “American Soldier” can stop being seen as a world wide policemen and start being seen as what they truly are, the protector of american freedom. A very low paid protector of freedom yet these men and women still go to war risking their lives on a daily basis while willing to put their families to the side to reach the goal of their mission is something that makes these soldiers deserve to be commended very highly and be praised but most of all stay home till it is time that their bravery is needed most to protect The United States from those who want to take from it the things that America has fought most for. The freedom of the public, the protection, and has the bravery to live however the citizens living in the United States see
