Badminton game was invented in ancient Greece and has been a major game in the sport. Badminton was originally a child's play and was initially called 'battledore' or 'shuttlecock'. Badminton has been an old game in the PE class for decades. A fantastic sport that young people and adults can play, badminton requires a small amount of equipment and offers an exciting exercise that will improve eye and hand coordination as well as agility.
In badminton, players use rackets to kick the shuttlecock forward and back over the net. Badminton equipment must comply with certain rules and specifications. The World Federations Laws of Badminton rules provide the standard for badminton equipment.

Racket
A racket is a sports device consisting of a wrist strap with an open rack over which the wire or hose network is tightened. It is used to kick balls or shuttles in games such as squash, tennis, racquet and badminton. Badminton rackets consist of a wound load surface attached to a thin shaft and a handle. The ratchet must have a straight face with a uniform pattern of overlapping threads. The total length of the racket, including a handle, shaft and face, may not exceed 26.4 inches. Racket may not exceed the width of 9 inches at its widest point.
