The top smartphones in the business today are your Iphones and Andorids. You see everybody carrying these around, you rarely see someone with a phone that isn’t touch screen or the ones where you have to flip it open to talk. Smartphones have given social networkers the ability to access their social networks from anywhere their phone signal is found. With this access people can see what is going on in the news, or what their friends are up to without standing up from your couch or bed. This also gives people the ability to share photos with friends or family. For example, Facebook is one of the largest social networks in the industry. If you have family that lives in a different city, state, or country. You can share photos with them through Facebook and you won’t wonder all the time what they are doing. On February 12, 2009, 202 cities around the world held this event bringing the Twitter world together for a night of fun to raise money for charity.
