The Benefits Of Sleep Deprivation
My dad had sleep deprivation, he started to work nights at the age of 23 and stopped at the age of 47. His work shift was 11:00pm to 7:00am 7 days a week. He would sleep during the day from when he got home to 4:00pm and work during the night. My dad got laid off from his job a couple years a go. The first few months from not working nights was very difficult for him to fall asleep at night. His body was immune to being awake during the night and asleep during the day. At night he always use to watch TV downstairs until 4:00am because he couldn’t fall asleep. About two years after he got a new job that was during the day. Over the years of working this new job his body adjected to being awake during the day and asleep at night. My grandfather, is home for most of the day and he usually watches television and he always takes nap, but his naps are long naps they are about an hour which is not good because your body is going into REM sleep which is deep sleep. Taking long naps during the prevents him from being able to fall asleep when it comes night time. At night, he usually falls asleep while watching television and wakes up around 1:00am to go upstairs in his bed. It takes him about an hour or so for him to fall asleep. Every morning he wakes up around 4:30am he tries to go back asleep but his body doesn’t let him so he just lays down in
