For instance, there are numerous stories online about how people fell in love because of poetry. Schwartzman strongly believes it is the kind of “elation to connect others.” (PBS) Schwartzman is one of many people that is trying to use poetry to make the world better. Furthermore, poetry allows people to connect with themselves, especially their emotions. Reading great poetry allows humans to find happiness, sadness, and other emotions within themselves.
