Online learning is becoming increasingly more popular. Today, technology drives education, and higher learning institutions and educators alike must be proactive in making higher education more accessible and attainable. Online Learning (OL) is a fast growing trend and it is opening doors in more ways than one for many students. Higher education through the traditional means can be difficult and costly; in contrast, OL has revolutionized the learning process, it has become the panacea to higher learning. OL is a unique alternative to conventional higher education; students can attend OL classes from the comfort of their home, office or anywhere there is internet service without having to physically attend class on campus. Online program will not only increase revenue for the university but it will open doors and opportunities for students of all generations. In addition, a virtual classroom will provide a space and time for cross-cultural exchange and collaborative learning. Online learning will make higher learning more affordable for students as well as keeping the operating costs low for the university without sacrificing the quality of education. Online learning will help JY University stay on the cutting edge with other top universities without the hefty costs and fees of a traditional on-campus method. The benefits of online program are copious; however, one of the top reasons why online program is so successful is the convenience feature. Adding an online program to JY University will enrich the programs already exists, increase enrollment, and generate more revenues; but most importantly, it will make JY University and higher education available to a more diverse
