Almost 20 years ago the Atkins diet hit the internet and offline world with a bang! This was surely the answer for anyone who was struggling to lose weight. And within the last 5 years, the results are poorly demonstrated with weight gain instead of weight loss.

You see, low carb diets are too hard, they are far too restrictive and there is little variety in the foods you can eat.This in turn leads to over eating and binging. Low carb diets cause fatigue, they cause headaches, irritability and severe mood swings. You also have a high chance of developing sleep problems on top of everything else.

These diets generally result in weight gain after the initial and dramatic induction phase. The only people having success with the low carb diets
