A controversial topic in California the past few years has made many think about legalizing Marijuana and the benefits that come with it. The Adult Use of Marijuana, proposition 64, brings up many positive in legalizing the medicinal plant. Like alcohol, consumers will have to be 21 and older. Marijuana purchases will be taxed 15%, allowing California’s economy to become stronger and wealthier. It is a known issue that prisons are being stuffed full, with no room, with the adult possession and usage of marijuana being legal, the prisons won’t be as full and money wasted on petty crimes.
